My latest track "Before The Storm" has managed to hit the #1 spot in the Electronica/Minimal chart on Soundclick - this brings my total #1's there to SIX(!), so big thanx to all those of you who made that happen.

I've now signed two more new licensing deals with companies in the USA - Audio Socket and Audio Naked. Both companies deal with sourcing music for TV/Film/Computer Games and New Media, so I'm hoping they can get more of my music placed in these areas. Watch this space!

I've just signed a licensing deal with a UK company called "Record-Play" - an agency who specialise in sourcing and providing music for Advertising/TV/Film/DVD/Web and Media. They have an impressive list of clients including, amongst others, Adidas, Rimmel, Prudential and BigUP Productions.

I am also about to sign licensing deals with TWO companies in America - one of which is VERY exciting!....There's still some legal stuff to sort out at the time of writing, but more details will follow as soon as everything is finalised and the contracts are signed! Watch this space....

Lots happening on the writing front at the moment - First up, I've recently signed a production licensing deal with a new company called "French Kiss Production Music", who specialise in providing clients with soundtrack, jingles or underscore/library music in Film/TV/Games and Media.

My music is also now being featured in various videos on a fantastic extreme sports website called www.superhumanmag.com. The site is an online magazine for extreme sports fans and features videos, interviews, articles and up to the minute news on a whole variety of different hi-adrenaline sports and activities. It's a great site and well worth a look. The first video featuring my track 'Ratchedhead' can be viewed by following this link: http://www.superhumanmag.com/content/view/1138/92/. - There'll be more to come and I will post up any links (and possibly the vids themselves) as and when the tracks are used.

2008 finished on a really happy note for me, with 'Ratchethead' going to the top of the Sounclick.com metal charts - this brings my total #1's to FIVE(!) and I have now had over 70,000 plays on my artist page there, so thank you to everyone who visits there and listens to my tunes!

....There are a couple of other exciting things in the pipeline at the moment which I can't say too much about now, but I will post up here when I know more details myself, so 2009 is looking set to be another busy year. Bring it on!!!

*Downloads now available from i-tunes!* - If you fancy treating your ipod to some new sounds, all of the tracks from my album "Escape Velocity" are now available individually as downloads from i-tunes worldwide.

Another chart topper on Soundclick! - Out of 241,266 tracks(!), my latest track "Mild Core Sedation" has managed to hit the top spot on the Soundclick.com Electronica chart.....(This means I've now had Four #1's and Three #2's on Soundclick to date in various genres)...and people have been leaving some incredibly kind comments on my message board, so I'm very happy with things over there at the moment! www.soundclick.com/cliverichardson will take you straight to my artist page.

It seems to have taken forever to get it finished, but I'm very happy (and relieved!) to say that my debut solo CD "Escape Velocity" is now available to buy. The 12-track album features some of the music that I have been lucky enough to get placed on the soundtracks in TV, Film and DVD productions in the UK and US over the last 12 months. There's lots been going on over the last few months....I've started a new band with a couple of my old friends from "Blah Blah" - Andy (Guitar & vocals) and Jay (Bass & vocals). The band is called "LOVESHACK" and is great fun, playing mainly covers and a couple of originals when we can get away with it. * Great news....today is the re-launch of WCER radio station over at www.radiocos.org (formerly 'Cosmic Elephant'), and 'Hammerhead' will be featured to kick off the proceedings in the opening show 'The Independent radio hour'! There's a huge diversity of great music on WCER and some really talented artists, so please give it a listen and add your support.

* I've just received notification that production on the US TV show "All God's Children" (featuring 'Jolt' as part of the soundtrack) is now complete and set for an air-time slot in the US anytime soon......I'll post more info up as and when it comes in.

- US production company 'Mediamarq' have selected 'Hammerhead' and 'Dreamtime' as part of the soundtrack to their latest DVD for "Full Flex Off-road" entitled 'All Crossed Up'. The DVD is due for release early 2008. For a sample of the DVD, go to Full Flex Off-road site here:

Wow, what a busy year it's been and the last few months have been especially busy.....I've had a bit of a technical problem updating the site here (hence no news lately!), but this is all sorted now and normal service will (fingers crossed) now be resumed!

On Friday 14th Dec 'The Feral Generation' had it's UK premiere in London as part of the 'Portobello film festival 2nd London film makers convention'!!! - I was invited to attend and met up with director Andrew Jones, actors Brooke Kinsella & Ray Panthaki, plus various other members of the production team and crew. What a great bunch of people they all are and it was a fantastic night! (I've put up a few pics on the PHOTOS page). I also got the chance to see the film (and hear "JOLT" on the soundtrack) for the first time. The movie is very dark and extremely hard hitting (definitely NOT for kids!) with some amazing performances from both Ray (as 'Vincent') and Brooke (as 'Nikki'). The soundtrack is superb too...and I'm honoured to be among such great artists on it. Theatrical release for the UK should be early next year, so please go see it (and listen out for "JOLT" in the scene where Vincent steals a car! :o)

"STRANGELY SERENE" features as part of the soundtrack to indy horror film 'The Clown' from Loose crew productions:

I've now scored THREE #1's on Soundclick.com - With "DREAMTIME" in the Electronica:Ambient category, "HAMMERHEAD" in the Metal:Industrial category, and "ART OF SEDUCTION" in the Electronica:IDM category. So far to date, I've had over 40,000 plays and my music is on 173 stations throughout the site.

I've also signed up to an American licensing company - "PUMP AUDIO" who deal with Film/TV music placements in the US, so hopefully there should be some good news from them during 2008.

It's been an incredibly hectic few months since I last updated this page, so apologies for the delay! I've been involved in some very interesting projects - more of which I hope to be able to report on soon.......in the meantime though.....

I've recently had notification that "Jolt" has been included in the soundtrack to a TV show in the US......The shoot was on the 30th June and the show is called "All God's Children". It's a fashion and dance extravaganza produced by "Alanworks studio". For more details on the whole project, follow this link:

You can now hear some of my tracks on the US based internet radio station WCER. The station is part of a fantastic site called "Cosmic Elephant" and the site itself is packed with loads of items, links and info on fascinating things such as the paranormal, UFO's, sci-fi and new age topics, as well as the radio programmes and an online department store. It's a great site and well worth a look! - Just click on the links above.

A quick update on how things are going on soundclick: "Dreamtime" is STILL #1 (of 14,438 tracks) in the Electonica:Ambient chart!!! It's currently playing on 36 different stations and receiving great reviews/comments from listeners all over the world. It's also sitting at #11 (of 193,616 tracks) in the overall Electronica chart.

I've spoken to the producers of "The Feral Generation" to finalise contract details and I'm looking forward to meeting the cast & crew at the UK premiere in London later this year.

....I'm really happy and excited to be telling you about this!.....I've just had confirmation through that my track "Jolt" has been chosen as part of the soundtrack to the up-coming movie "The Feral Generation". The film itself is a hard-hitting story about two young and homeless heroin addicts. It was directed by the young award winning director Andrew Jones and stars Ray Panthaki and Brooke Kinsella (both probably best known for their roles in Eastenders as Ronnie Ferreira and Kelly Taylor). The film is being premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May, then will be on general release in theatres throughout the UK later in the year, before being released on DVD and shown on terrestrial TV after that. Over the last month I've been working on ideas in the studio with a new singer - Fiona. We've completed one track for SUPALUBE so far - and it's called "I want your love". To hear it, go to www.garageband.com/artist/supalube. We've also been working on some chillout stuff and a few other song ideas, I'll be adding more stuff here as soon as it's finished.

"Groove2themusic" has now made it to #10 in the Garageband dance chart and is still winning alot of praise in reviews (which is nice!). At the time of writing, it is being featured on the site as "track of the week" in the dance category....and it also made "track of the day" again last friday (Oct 27).

We're currently talking to a production company and label in America about licensing some of the SUPALUBE material for Film and TV use. We're also now looking at labels in the UK to help us with future releases....More on these soon....

*SUPALUBE news*.......The track "Groove2themusic" has been winning loads of reviewer awards and has also been "track of the day" on Garageband.com. *SUPALUBE NEWS*.......The track "Deathblast" has been awarded "track of the day" on Garageband.com for Friday 11 Aug, meaning that it gets a front page promotion on the dance music page for the whole of that day. The track has now received enough reviews for a star rating and is currently rated at 4.7 stars (out of 5)! The current chart position for Deathblast is No.22 and climbing!......Ooooh yeaahhh!!! ;o) Go to www.garageband.com/artist/supalube for a listen if you wanna hear it.

I've been pretty busy this week working in the studio on the kit. I've been recording more live drumming samples to use in future SUPALUBE material. I have added a few (7) clips of me practising for this to the MUSIC SAMPLES page if you wanna listen!

...Apart from putting the finishing touches to the SUPALUBE album, I've been on the drums again in the studio (making preparations for some live loop recordings) and I will be adding some more clips of me messing around on the kit to the music samples page shortly.

Apologies for the delay as it's been quite a while since an update here, but lots has been going on - so here's a brief-ish rundown of what I've been up to: Since January I have been very busy writing and recording new material for a studio project which goes under the name of "SUPALUBE". This is a project that came about 18 months ago while just having fun messing around with vocal samples and dance beats with my good friend (and now 'lube writing partner) Simon Hunns. We've managed to secure the representation of promotions company "Sniff music Ltd" who will be helping us get tracks to clubs, radio stations and record labels all over the U.K and into Ibiza. We're looking to release the debut album (which is now nearing completion) as soon as we can sort out a deal with the right label....so watch this space!!! Over the next week or so I'll be adding some SUPALUBE audio clips to the music samples page - It's all very tongue-in-cheek and great fun so we hope you like it!!!.....

.....And so to more writing - I've recently been working to a brief on more material for Northstar. It's all in the "Reggaeton" style and is due for a compilation album release and library music use.

.....The chillout album has had to be put on hold for a while as my attention has been diverted into the SUPALUBE project and Northstar stuff, but I'll post up any more developments as and when they occur......

There's been quite alot going on since I put the last post on here so in a few quick sentences, here's the latest: I played a Christmas gig on 22nd Dec with "Blah Blah" - The band was put together by my good friend the singer/songwriter Andy Pearson (AKA Spike: see links page) initially just for the Christmas gig, but the night went so well and we all had such a ball that the decision was taken to play more dates - and we are now working towards playing a few local low key dates initially, then some festivals in the summer. They're a great bunch of guys to play with and I'm quite excited about the whole thing 'cause this band ROCKS!!!. I'll post up all the latest from this project as things develop.

Still writing and submitting new material to Northstar. More news on this to follow in the new year......

Things have been pretty hectic lately on the writing front - submissions have been made to various companies for TV/Film and library music inclusion and we're waiting to hear if any tracks are to be used - I will post any news as I get it myself.

Northstar have just informed me that the track "COMFORT ZONE" has been licensed to a record company for inclusion on a compilation album. The company are based in Singapore and the album is to be released throughout Asia and the Far East. It will feature a compilation of tracks in the Lounge/chillout style.

I've just signed a publishing agreement with Northstar music Ltd and "Chillwithastill" is to be included on a compilation triple CD of various artists entitled "Chillout Moods". The album is set to be released throughout Europe on the Disky label and should be in the shops ready for the summer.

I've also been busy recording and mixing a series of drumming loops and samples for "Station Productions", who are suppliers of music to the TV/Film and Media industries. - There has been Six new solo drumming loops added to the MUSIC SAMPLES page of me messing about on the kit in between takes. Just a bit of fun really - I hope you like 'em!

Apologies for the delay in latest updates - I've been incredibly busy writing and submitting material for various TV/Film projects in the UK and US. I have picked up some interest from an American publisher and they are currently trying to place 4 tracks for TV or Film soundtrack use - (Bassgroove, Brand new day, Chillwithastill and Faerytale). I'll post any news as I receive it.

The album is still work in progress - there are now around 30 tracks available for inclusion, and I'm currently seeking publishing and record company interest to help with the release. More details to follow...
